Hiking Beacon Rock

Today, Matt & I hiked to the top of Beacon Rock. We haven't hiked that monolith in years. It was VERY fun! It reminds me of a scene from the computer game Riven. Does anyone remember that game? It's one of the few I played back in the day. It has all these very short switch backs with metal railings climbing the entire rockface. The top affords a VERY amazing view of the gorge looking east & west and Bonneville Dam.
